We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team at Elite Hotels in Eastbourne, East Sussex. As a key member of our Front of House Team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process, and handling any inquiries or issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Check-in/Check-out: Greet guests at the front desk, check them in and out, and escort them to their rooms if necessary.
- Payment Processing: Receive payment from guests and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Room Sales and Availability: Check availability and take details to sell rooms at the best possible rates, and enter reservations into the computer system.
- Cashiering: Act as a cashier for guests and other departments, including exchanging foreign currency.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Front of House Team to provide a warm, caring, and professional service to our guests.
- Sales and Promotion: Promote the hotel's facilities and services to guests, and take brochure and tariff enquiries to enter reservations outside of office hours.
- Image Promotion: Act as a sales person, promoting the hotel's image at all times.
