Senior Accountant (6-month FTC)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented senior accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
  • Month-End and Year-End Closing: Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and generate reports to support management decisions.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
  • Audit Coordination: Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
  • Team Support: Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Strong knowledge of R2R would be preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Microsoft Excel
