Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our Finance team at Haribo UK. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing support in the production of accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly Management Accounts for the UK and Ireland
  • Support with Year-end audit and Statutory Accounts preparation
  • Contribute to Tax work and projects
  • Assist with the preparation of Group Accounts and process improvement projects
  • Produce internal and external month-end reports for Fixed Assets
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations
  • Review the pre-month-end P&L account
  • Support Group Planning by assisting with the preparation of forecasts and budgets
Requirements
  • Previous financial and management accounts experience is essential (minimum 2 years)
  • Studying towards an accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA) is required
  • Good working knowledge of sales, purchase, and general ledger principles
  • Advanced Excel skills are necessary
  • Excellent communication skills are required, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • A continuous improvement mindset is essential
  • Ability to motivate self to achieve deadlines
  • Professional and confident manner, with the ability to work at all levels
  • Flexible and can-do attitude
  • Comfortable working independently and in teams
