Senior Mechanical Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team at Matchtech. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for coordinating all mechanical engineering functions in pre- and post-contract award and achieving a successful outcome technically and commercially to the clients' requirements on the project.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the services for their proper integration into the treatment works and liaise with other disciplines.
- Oversee the production of all drawings, including plant and sub-contract layouts, to ensure coordination.
- Provide support to the Project Quantity Surveyor on commercial matters.
- Undertake and manage all labor/direct material matters.
- Undertake a regular audit of the Productivity Scheme and ensure it is completed with the Foreman/Site Agent.
- Maintain accurate records of labor and material elements used in the pre-fabricated sections of the project.
- Provide support to the Site Agent/General Foreman on any installation matters.
- Represent the company on any internal and external issues.
- Project Review - Monthly
- Sub-Contract Reviews - Monthly
- Possess relevant CSCS card.
- SMSTS Qualification, SSSTS Minimum.
- Ideally the successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years working within a similar role.
- Be Diploma or Degree qualified.
- Technical knowledge of Civil, Electrical & Mechanical Water & Waste Water Operations.
- Industry experience in a similar role.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills who can multi-task and consistently meet challenging deadlines.
- Commercially astute.
- Experience of both pre-production and production mechanical project engineering desirable.
- Has an appreciation of MMC, Lean Construction, Agile Programme Management, Production Thinking, and other techniques that assure programme, cost, and quality performance.
- Programme-focused with an ability to plan and organize resources both off and on site to deliver on time and in full.
- First Aid at work.
- Appropriate IT skills, including the use of company software packages.
- Communicates with colleagues and clients in a warm and persuasive way both formally and informally.
