**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Supervisor to lead our electrical engineering projects at H&MV Engineering UK. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical installations and proven leadership skills, with experience in managing projects from inception to completion.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Project Oversight:** Supervise and coordinate all on-site activities, providing guidance to project teams and subcontractors.
- **Quality Assurance:** Ensure compliance with all project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
- **Project Monitoring:** Monitor project progress, identify and resolve any issues or delays that may arise.
- **Site Inspections:** Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality, safety standards, and adherence to project plans.
- **Health and Safety:** Promote and enforce adherence to H&MV Engineering's Health and Safety policies and procedures on-site.
- **Safety Briefings:** Conduct regular safety briefings, toolbox talks, and ensure all personnel are equipped with the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).
- **Risk Management:** Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards or risks, implementing corrective measures when required.
- **Workforce Management:** Manage and coordinate on-site workforce, including both H&MV Engineering employees and subcontractors.
- **Resource Allocation:** Schedule and allocate resources effectively to meet project timelines and budget requirements.
- **Cost Control:** Monitor and control project costs, ensuring optimal use of materials, equipment, and labour.
- **Client Liaison:** Act as the primary liaison between the project team and the client, ensuring effective communication and understanding of project requirements.
- **Project Collaboration:** Collaborate with the Project Manager to address any client concerns or changes in project scope.
- **Project Progress:** Keep the client informed of project progress, milestones, and any potential issues affecting project delivery.
- **Quality Control:** Implement and maintain H&MV Engineering's quality control systems and procedures on-site.
- **Quality Assurance Checks:** Conduct regular checks to verify that the work is being performed in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
- **Quality Improvement:** Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure compliance with quality assurance processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
**Qualifications and Experience:**
- Experience in a similar supervisory role within the electrical engineering industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical installations and associated works.
- A valid CSCS card and relevant industry qualifications (e.g., Electrical trade qualification, SMSTS/SSSTS, First Aid).
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, CDM regulations, and construction legislation.
- Effective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
