About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team at Manor House School. As a SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and support to our pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Under the direction of the Senior Management Team, carry out the professional duties of a school teacher as set out in the current School policies.
  • Uphold the professional code of conduct and teach in accordance with the ethos, organisation, and policies of the school.
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans to meet the needs of our pupils.
  • Assess, record, and report pupil progress to parents and carers.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Knowledge and understanding of SEMH, SEND Code of Practice, and statutory curriculum requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
