Job Title: Multi-Drop Sprinter Delivery Driver

Location: Yate

Salary: £26,000 per annum

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: Up to 45 Hours per week; Mon - Fri

Our client, a leading independent foodservice company in the Southwest, is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Multi-Drop Sprinter Delivery Driver to join their team. As a key member of the logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering goods to customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with loading company vehicles and ensuring the load is secure.
  • Drive a 3.5T vehicle to deliver food and catering goods to customers.
  • Bulk pick items from the back of a lorry and carry goods to the point requested by the customer.
  • Record the temperature of the vehicle's chiller and freezer, ensuring temperatures are within critical limits.
  • Drive safely and minimize wear and tear on the vehicle.

Requirements:

  • Hold a full UK driving licence with less than 6 points.
  • Excellent driving skills in various conditions and knowledge of traffic laws.
  • Individual commitment to providing superior customer service.
  • Friendly disposition and excellent customer service skills.
  • Enthusiastic and flexible attitude.
  • Trustworthy and comfortable collecting and handling cash.
  • Be presentable to promote the company image.
  • Physically fit for manual handling of heavy goods.
  • Ability to work to deadlines with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Quick learner.
  • Good level of numeracy and literacy.
