Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement quantitative research frameworks in Python, including integrating models, algorithms, analytics, and research tools.
  • Work closely with quantitative analysts and researchers to develop and implement quantitative research methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality Python code, following software engineering best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of quantitative research tools and frameworks.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of total commercial or post-graduation experience, ideally in a quantitative role in the financial markets.
  • Solid understanding of financial markets and products, ideally equities.
  • Strong Python skills, including data analysis libraries and visualization tools (Matplotlib, Plotly, Pandas, NumPy).
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and practices, including CI/CD.
  • Degree or Master's in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

What We Offer

A competitive daily rate of £500-£550, with the potential for a permanent contract in the medium term.
