About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Audiologist to join our team as a Service Lead for Paediatric Audiology. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and delivery of high-quality audiology services for children and young people in our trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Paediatric Audiology team to deliver high-quality services that meet the needs of our patients and their families.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and experience.
  • Work closely with the clinical director and general manager to develop and implement new services and projects.
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the team to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality services.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure that audiology services are integrated into the wider healthcare system.
Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with:

  • A degree in an appropriate scientific subject.
  • An MSc in Clinical Audiology or equivalent.
  • Certificate of Audiological Competence / Higher Training Scheme (or equivalent).
  • ILM management / leadership qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience of previous clinical leadership / line management.
