We are currently seeking an E-commerce Merchandising Specialist to become a vital part of our Direct team.

The primary role of an E-commerce Merchandising Specialist is to collaborate with the Trading and Marketing departments to create an engaging online shopping experience. This involves optimizing product displays, category arrangements, and website content. You will manage product and category updates on our platform, ensuring that the customer journey is seamless, particularly during marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for enhancing website content, supporting the Marketing team with SEO strategies, and improving the overall customer web experience to boost conversion rates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the online product catalog, ensuring accurate information, images, and pricing with optimized descriptions.
  • Enhance product listings and categories for a streamlined customer experience, facilitating easy browsing and purchasing.
  • Optimize product listings for search engine visibility and paid advertising to drive traffic.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to deliver precise SEO content, including crafting copy for essential pages aligned with keyword objectives.
  • Continuously strive to enhance the customer experience throughout the shopping funnel, focusing on navigation, product discoverability, and purchase processes.
  • Ensure timely launch of campaign activations and new products across the site, adhering to project briefs.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of imported feeds for inventory and content accuracy.
  • Conduct regular audits of the site to maintain a seamless shopping experience and promptly address any issues.
  • Analyze onsite performance metrics, reporting on key indicators such as conversion rates, click-through rates, and page performance.
  • Quality check product and category updates to ensure optimal presentation.
Qualifications
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
  • Experience with e-commerce content management systems.
  • Familiarity with staging environments; basic HTML knowledge is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a solid understanding of journey optimization.
