**Job Purpose / Summary**

Rubix, a leading industrial maintenance and distribution network in Europe, is seeking a skilled Machinist to join its team. As a key member of the Deritend part of the Rubix Group of Companies, you will be responsible for optimizing asset performance and providing exceptional services to our clients.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Ensure adherence to workflow procedures and maintain a safe working environment.

• Operate various machines and tools to manufacture and repair mechanical assemblies, including milling operations, balancing, and metalizing techniques.

• Record and document all necessary data to produce and expected service and/or design results.

• Perform various welding operations, including setup and use of MIG, TIG, torch, and stick welders.

• Use hand-held and stationary power and non-power tools, including band saws, belt sanders, hand grinders, files, etc.

• Promote a culture of working safely as routine and ensure compliance with company H&S policies and procedures.

**Skills and Experience**

  • High school qualifications
  • Engineering apprentice

On-the-job training and experience in a similar role are essential for success in this position.
