Job Title: Civil Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our team at NES Fircroft. As a key member of our engineering design house, you will be responsible for the production of technical documentation to high professional standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and checking of design calculations, specifications, and quantities
  • Communication and supervision of draughtsmen
  • Work within challenging programmes and budgets
Requirements:
  • University degree minimum
  • Additional equivalent Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status preferred
  • Background in Heavy Engineering, Chemical, or Petrochemical Industries preferred
Key Skills:
  • English Language - written, spoken, and technical
  • Specification/report writing
  • Awareness of and compliance with Company's Quality Management System procedures and requirements
Software Knowledge:
  • IT literate
  • Experience using Tekla
  • Design/analysis software usage (preferably ROBOT & TEDDS)
Working Conditions:

37 hours/week, flexitime, core hours Mon-Thurs 9:00-16:00, Fri 9:00-12:30
