Job Title: Electrical Technician

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team at Stormsaver. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly and testing of electrical control panels, ensuring that all equipment is manufactured to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assembly of electrical wiring in control panels
  • Assembly of plumbing in control panels
  • Assembly of mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Testing and monitoring of equipment
  • Quality check and testing of equipment
  • Preparation and packing of equipment
  • Loading and offloading equipment from delivery vehicles
  • Maintenance of a clean and safe working environment
  • Assistance with stock taking and inventory management
  • Management of stock levels and notification of reordering requirements
  • Acceptance of incoming deliveries and reporting of any issues
  • Support of project coordination team to deliver production schedule
  • Ensuring accuracy of data stored in CRM system
  • Support of team members as required
  • Contribution to research and development as required
Requirements:
  • Electrical engineering qualification to BTEC Level 2 or 3 or equivalent
  • Forklift operator certification
  • Understanding of Health and Safety within a manufacturing environment
  • Team player with enthusiastic and hardworking attitude
  • Ability to think on your feet and be self-motivated
  • Organized and methodical with attention to detail
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Packages
  • GCSE Maths and English a minimum of Grade C/5 or above
  • A full UK driving license
  • Minimum 2 years working in an electrical engineering/manufacturing environment
