Splunk Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Splunk Engineer to join our team at TEKsystems. As a Splunk Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Splunk systems and infrastructure to support our clients' data analytics needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement Splunk system architecture to meet client requirements
  • Develop and maintain automation tools for CI/CD workflows using Terraform, OpenShift, Bitbucket, and other tools
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate automation tools into the software development lifecycle
  • Design and implement automation frameworks and processes to optimize software testing and deployment
  • Work with infrastructure teams to ensure automation tools are integrated with the appropriate infrastructure components
  • Identify and address technical issues with automation tools and processes
  • Develop and maintain documentation for automation tools and processes
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of Splunk and its ecosystem
  • Experience with automation tools such as Terraform, OpenShift, and Bitbucket
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
