About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems. As a Principal Engineer – Safety & Environmental Engineering (Product Safety), you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and environmental integrity of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement safety and environmental engineering strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with product development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain safety and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to ensure the safety of our products and the environment.

What You'll Need:
  • Proven experience in safety and environmental engineering, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
