About Fourblue

Fourblue is an independent engineering and sustainability consultancy seeking a Senior / Principal Sustainability Consultant to provide holistic strategic advice on energy and sustainability strategies within the built environment.


Key Responsibilities

As a Senior / Principal Sustainability Consultant, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing in-depth and holistic technical knowledge of environmental design to define briefs for client projects and deliver.
  • Advising on building strategies that maximise low energy and low carbon design principles, drawing upon 4+ years experience in a similar role with working knowledge of building energy modelling packages (IES & SAP) and Green Certifications (BREEAM, LEED, WELL).
  • Exploring best practise sustainability initiatives across NZ Carbon, building certification, health and wellbeing and social Value.
  • Overseeing, managing and supporting a team of more junior colleagues in energy modelling to provide consultancy advice on whole life carbon, including both operational and embodied carbon and circular economy principles.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 4+ years experience in a similar role with working knowledge of building energy modelling packages (IES & SAP) and Green Certifications (BREEAM, LEED, WELL).
  • Strong technical knowledge of environmental design and sustainability principles.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
