Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with subject matter experts (SMEs) to conduct requirements and process analysis
- Conduct workshops and other techniques to identify gaps and inconsistencies in financial data management processes
- Develop and document problem statements, business requirements, functional specifications, use cases, test cases, and other project artefacts
- Create and maintain process maps and data flow diagrams to support process analysis and data management
- Collaborate with finance and IT teams to develop and implement data management strategies to improve the quality and accuracy of financial data
- Provide recommendations for process improvements and data quality enhancements to ensure compliance with data standards
- Collaborate with finance and IT teams to develop and deliver training to end users to support compliance with data standards and improve data management practices
- Work with development teams to ensure that data management requirements are accurately translated into technical specifications for development and testing
- Work with the project manager to track progress and provide regular updates in project status and deliverables
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3+ years experience as a Business Analyst
- Demonstrable experience working on finance master data projects
- Experience in data analysis and interpretation
- Proficient with both Microsoft Excel and Power BI
