About the Role
At Tesco, we're committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued and supported. As a Communications Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in helping us achieve this goal. You'll work closely with various teams across the business to develop and deliver effective operational communications to our stores and centres.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Partner with different teams to ensure we deliver high-quality operational communications to our colleagues through the right channels
  2. Develop and deliver daily and weekly publications to store and centre management teams
  3. Design engaging communications for colleagues using various digital platforms
  4. Develop communications plans for all projects landing in stores and centres, considering all impacts and audiences
  5. Review and update all reference material for stores on our existing Help site
  6. Be a trusted guide, supporting teams to understand the right channel of communication and provide specialist expertise to support teams in delivering effective communications
  7. Ensure our communications meet the agreed branding, tone of voice, and expression
  8. Meet tight deadlines to ensure reactive communications land at the right time
  9. Take a journalistic approach to communications, ensuring you probe teams and ask the relevant questions to ensure the message has the required impact
  10. Continually look for ways to simplify and evolve store and centre communications through internal knowledge sharing and standard processes
  11. Have a solid understanding of the business and keep up-to-date with current and future systems
  12. Contribute to the team by covering each other's areas and take the initiative to support team activities
  13. Follow our business code of conduct and always act with integrity and due diligence
  14. Consistently look for ways to improve your own performance and personal development through an active PDP, learning, and giving/seeking feedback to continuously improve

What You'll Need
  1. Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout, and digital design skills
  2. A strong networker
  3. Meticulous eye for detail and accuracy
  4. Ability to work as part of a team

  6. Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
  7. Excellent partner engagement
  8. Innovative
  9. Understanding of operations and structures for stores and distribution centres
  10. A good understanding of a retail business
