Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Personal Assistant to join our team at Disability North. The successful candidate will provide personal care and support to a tetraplegic lady in her 60s, enabling her to live independently and maintain a fulfilling lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to the client, including bathing, dressing, and light household duties
- Assist with meal preparation and occasional shopping
- Support the client in engaging in activities such as days out, swimming, and attending the gym
- Work collaboratively with the client's team to ensure her needs are met
Requirements
- Previous experience in a social care setting is an advantage
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassion and empathy when working with vulnerable individuals
