Job Description

We are seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join our Mechanical Engineering team as part of our Industry Placements program.

About the Role

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for working on a variety of projects that will help you develop your skills and knowledge in mechanical engineering. You will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the development of new products and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and components
  • Conduct failure investigations and root cause analysis
  • Develop technical specifications and maintenance plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive business results
  • Develop and implement process improvements
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Currently studying an IMechE accredited undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Completed a minimum of 2 years of undergraduate degree but not graduated at the start of the placement
  • Enrolled at a UK or ROI University for the duration of the placement
  • Written and spoken fluency in English
