We are seeking an experienced and skilled Site Agent or Senior Agent to join our Major Projects Nuclear department based in Hinkley Point C, Somerset, Bridgewater.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing resources (people, finance, and physical assets) in a safe and timely manner to the required quality. This will involve leading a significant section of the project, ensuring all labour, plant, materials, and supply chain resources are accurately recorded.

The candidate will also be responsible for supporting the implementation and monitoring of Performance and Health & Safety policies and procedures in accordance with Kierbam standards. Additionally, they will promote integrated working with other members within the project to create a one-team ethos, including development of team members.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, including leading and managing technical teams. They will be able to establish project requirements and drive the team to deliver the outcomes in terms of quality, cost, and programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage resources (people, finance, and physical assets) in a safe and timely manner to the required quality.
  • Lead a significant section of the project, ensuring all labour, plant, materials, and supply chain resources are accurately recorded.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of Performance and Health & Safety policies and procedures in accordance with Kierbam standards.
  • Promote integrated working with other members within the project to create a one-team ethos, including development of team members.
  • Take full ownership and accountability for cost management of your project, ensuring robust control of Target Cost, actual costs, and forecasts through commercial awareness and using site-based systems such as CEMAR.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication and project management skills, including leading and managing technical teams.
  • Ability to establish project requirements and drive the team to deliver the outcomes in terms of quality, cost, and programme.
  • Strong understanding of Performance and Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other members within the project to create a one-team ethos.
