Key Responsibilities
- Assist the kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of food to the highest standards.
- Ensure the kitchen is maintained in a clean and hygienic condition, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Support the Head Chef in the management of kitchen staff and resources.
- Assist with food deliveries and storage, ensuring that all food is handled and stored correctly.
- Contribute to the development of new menu ideas and dishes, working closely with the culinary team.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and feedback in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Basic food safety and hygiene knowledge, with a willingness to learn and develop further.
