Position Overview

Location: Various locations across Redbridge

Hours: 40 - Full Time - Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Autonomously develop and innovate the food and beverage offerings while ensuring compliance with operational standards.
  • Manage the catering services across multiple venues, ensuring efficiency and quality.
  • Establish and uphold food and beverage standards, implementing action plans as necessary.
  • Foster partnerships with suppliers and stakeholders to enhance service delivery.

Core Duties

  • Oversee the catering services at key venues including Hainault Forest and Fairlop Waters.
  • Enhance the food and beverage experience at the Kenneth More Theatre and Valentines Mansion.
  • Manage inventory and stock control across all locations.
  • Negotiate with catering suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Facilitate training and development for catering staff.
  • Collaborate with Venue Managers to enhance catering and event offerings.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience in establishing catering operations and procedures.
  • Demonstrated expertise in food and beverage management.
  • Experience in training staff for effective food and beverage service.
  • Background in delivering catering services in diverse venues.

Key Skills

  • Ability to contribute strategically to organizational development.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Competence in creating effective processes, including risk assessments.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and manage time effectively.
  • Proactive and innovative mindset.
  • Knowledge of licensing regulations and food hygiene standards.
  • Familiarity with forecasting and budgeting for menus.
