Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Belong Chester, working night shifts to provide exceptional care to our residents.
As a Care Assistant, you will work closely with other staff members to maintain high standards of care and service, providing personal and practical care to our residents.
You will be responsible for demonstrating compassion, empathy, and a person-centred approach to caring for older people, working well under pressure and being flexible to meet the needs of our residents and the household.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assistance, personal care, activities, and companionship to residents
- Be alert to residents' needs, health, and wellbeing
- Respect residents' dignity and privacy
- Work with residents and their families to deliver tailored care to each individual
- Assist with mealtimes and safe moving
- Maintain accurate records for each resident
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Committed to providing a high standard of care, promoting dignity and respect
- Previous experience working within an elderly care setting
- Team player but able to work on your own initiative
- Dependable, able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the Home
- A minimum of a NVQ level 2 in health & social care or the Care Certificate
