Job Summary:
Reed Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Process Safety Specialist to join our team on a permanent basis. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and integrity of our processes and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of safety cases, support safety assessment studies, and bow-tie diagrams for major accident hazards associated with process operations
- Collaborate with Technical Authorities to identify safety and environmentally critical elements (SECE's) and develop associated performance standards and assurance activities
- Review operational risk assessments for temporarily degraded plant, process and people barriers
- Participate in hazard identification and risk assessments, supporting the management of change process
- Assist with developing emergency response plans and process safety training material for personnel
- Support inspections carried out by regulatory bodies and follow up on findings
- Liaise with clients to resolve process safety issues identified during operations
Requirements:
- Experience with process safety legislation and associated industry standards
- Bachelor or Engineering Degree or equivalent years of experience
- NEBOSH certification
- Full UK Driving Licence
