Job Summary:

TSG Group is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in Leeds. As a key member of our installation and maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our commercial vehicle washing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Installation and Maintenance: Perform daily diagnostic testing, troubleshooting, and repair of vehicle wash equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Commissioning and Testing: Commission new equipment for jet and roll-over washing facilities, ensuring all systems are functioning correctly and safely.
  • Customer Service: Maintain strong relationships with customers, providing excellent service and support to ensure their needs are met.
  • Reporting and Administration: Produce accurate service reports and maintain company records, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Response and Resolution: Respond promptly to calls and resolve issues within set service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring minimal disruption to customers.
  • Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSSE) Compliance: Maintain company equipment and adhere to HSSE guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and customers.

Requirements:

  • Technical Background: Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background or relevant experience, with a strong understanding of technical principles and practices.
  • Technical Aptitude: Confident with hand tools and able to diagnose and repair complex equipment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and Teamwork: Flexible and able to work independently or as part of a team, with a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
  • IT Skills: Good understanding of IT troubleshooting and ability to use technical software and systems.
