About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our production team as a Production Line Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe packaging of finished products into tubs or outers while maintaining high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Confirm daily production plans with Front Line Managers and prepare accordingly.
  • Check Product Quality Attributes (PQA) for products to be produced.
  • Ensure codes are correctly positioned on products in line with PQA requirements.
  • Verify the number of biscuits per packet and packets per outer for each product run.
  • Confirm with Front Line Managers the correct method of packing into outers.
  • Feed denester/creamer/enrober/wrapping machines to ensure products are delivered at the correct output, as per SOP/SSOW.
  • Stack outers according to stacking patterns and operate endoline to ensure optimum throughput, as per SOP/SSOW.
  • Ensure all blue tubs are lidded and no wrapping material or tubs are placed on the floor.
  • Report to Front Line Managers immediately if any out-of-spec or contaminated products are found or there are any evident risks to product quality.
Requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively, speak clearly, and articulately, with a good understanding of written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work at speed handling biscuits on a moving web or track.
  • Manual dexterity required, with the ability to carry out repetitive tasks as necessary.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and help others.
  • Ability to follow instructions from other team members and Front Line Managers.
  • Willingness to learn and be flexible in a variety of tasks, with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to check the quality of packets and products.
