Job Title: Apprentice Pump Engineer

Location: Office base Ascot – Mobile role covering London & South East (M25, Essex, Kent & Suffolk)

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Pump Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be trained and developed to carry out pre-planned maintenance works, fault find, and undertake repairs to Sprinkler Fire Pumps to relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Working with lead engineers, learning on the job with a one day a week dedicated to studying for your qualification.
  • Installing / commissioning fire pump systems on client sites.
  • Servicing, maintaining and repairing fire pump systems and associated equipment.
  • Performing general electrical and mechanical engineering tasks to ensure that our pump systems are operating as specified.
  • Entering confined spaces and other hazards area to complete work tasks.
  • Maintain and record stock levels in company van, recording the details of all parts used on job completions report.
  • Traveling nationwide to support our customers with our wonderful team of experienced and trainee Engineers.
Requirements
  • 3 GCSES at Grade C (4) and above including Maths, English & Science (essential).
  • ICT literate (essential).
  • Full UK Driving licence (highly desirable).
