Job Title: Plant Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and astute Engineering Manager to take ownership of their heavy industrial plant in Nottingham, developing and growing their talented workforce.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire Engineering process on a day-to-day basis, including resource planning and implementing continuous improvement techniques throughout the maintenance department.
  • Draft and implement risk assessments, safe working procedures, and method statements to ensure the maintenance team works to an exceptionally high standard.
  • Schedule and prioritize workloads to the production team and contractors, overseeing operations including welding, fabrication, fitting, and PPM.
  • Ensure all team members adhere to company HSEQ policies and manage and develop a Computerised Maintenance Management System.
Requirements:
  • Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering qualification and experience working within a heavy industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of FMEA, FTA, SMED, and maintenance programs, as well as experience leading a team of Engineers.
  • Understanding of 5S and continuous improvement practices, including implementation and maintenance, and knowledge of continuous improvement techniques and LEAN manufacturing principles.
