Job Description

Job Title: Network Infrastructure Specialist

Job Summary:

Mccabe & Barton is seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a Network Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement network infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements
  • Configure and manage network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Implement and manage network security policies and procedures
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network infrastructure meets business needs
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for network infrastructure

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in network administration and deployment
  • Experience with low-latency environments is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, including OSPF, BGP, and HSRP
  • Experience with Cisco, Arista, and Fortinet products
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to write clear, concise documentation
  • Vendor management experience
  • Experience in Financial Services/FinTech or similar high-pressure industry

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CCNA or CCNP certification
  • Experience with Zabbix or similar monitoring platforms
  • Knowledge of multicast architecture and protocols (PIM-SM, IGMP v2)
  • Experience managing firewall appliances, preferably Fortinet
