Work Schedule:

With a legacy spanning over 70 years, the company employs more than 12,000 individuals globally and has established itself as a leader in automated processing machinery for the FMCG sector.

In light of ongoing growth within the UK market, there is a requirement to onboard an additional field service technician, possessing expertise in electrical servicing and commissioning.

Qualifications:
  • Apprentice-trained in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Proficient in PLC Systems & Automated Equipment
  • Experience in the installation and commissioning of machinery within production lines
  • Conducting spare parts assessments for specific machines
  • Maintenance and refurbishment of machinery, including commissioning
  • Installation of change components and upgrades with commissioning
  • Providing training to client personnel on machine operation post-installation
  • Mentoring and training apprentices
  • Documentation & Reporting (service reports, travel logs, warranty documentation, etc.)
  • Time-served engineer, ideally holding an HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in the food & beverage sector, particularly with filling and packaging machinery, is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Field-based work experience is preferred but not essential
  • Competent in computer usage and IT skills, familiar with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), with a capacity to quickly adapt to new systems
