About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Plant Supervisor to join our team at our Sevenoaks Bagging Plant. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our plant, focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist colleagues with shipping and receiving deliveries, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of material quality, adhering to our safety, health, and environmental policies.
- Support the maintenance regime of the plant, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Meet daily production targets, reporting data for quality purposes and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring accurate loading and timely vehicle turnaround.
- Participate in good housekeeping practices, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a similar operations environment, with a strong understanding of safety protocols and quality control procedures.
- Excellent communication and numeracy skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in using relevant software systems.
- A mobile plant license for diesel counterbalance (desirable).
- Able to demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
