We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead our Purchasing and Payroll department. As a Finance Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing payment-related operations, processing payroll, and supplier invoices across the business.

About the Role

This is an opportunity to grow as a manager, providing support and guidance to your team, as well as stepping in for other managers within Finance when needed. We value flexibility at Selwood Housing, and many of the team work from home 3-4 days a week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage payment-related operations, including accounts payable and payroll
  • Lead a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support
  • Step in for other managers within Finance when needed
  • Develop and implement financial processes and procedures
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and supplier invoices
Requirements
  • 3 years experience in a finance environment
  • Accounts payable and payroll experience
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles
  • Excellent attention to detail & accuracy
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills
  • Analytical & problem-solving abilities
  • Organisational & time management skills
