Job Title: Commercial Finance Analyst

Location: Reading (hybrid working)

Job Type: 9 - 12 month fixed term contract full-time position (35 hours per week).

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Analyst to join our team in Reading. As a Commercial Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring that appropriate expert financial and commercial advice is factored into new business proposals across all business areas of EDT.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head of Strategic Finance to facilitate new business outcomes in line with organisational strategy
  • Work closely with the Business Development team to provide advice and support in line with the financial model
  • Ensure that inter-relationships between business performance drivers and financial outcomes are understood and applied
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders to provide expert financial and commercial advice
Requirements
  • Qualified accountant with strong analytical and communication skills
  • Experience of inter-relationships between business performance drivers and financial outcomes
  • Understanding of business partnering across functions and geographies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
