We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Safeguarding Team at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. As a Safeguarding Nurse Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing specialist advice and support to our employees in relation to safeguarding children and adults at risk.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist advice and individual support to UHB employees in relation to safeguarding children and adults at risk.
- Work in partnership with statutory and third sector organisations to communicate highly sensitive and complex information via multi-agency forums.
- Monitor the quality and effectiveness of professional practice in relation to safeguarding children and adults at risk.
- Support and empower practitioners in communicating highly sensitive and complex information to families/individuals and review high concern families with health professionals through safeguarding supervision.
- Collaborate with the Safeguarding Trainer to review, develop, and implement safeguarding training for UHB employees.
We are looking for a Registered Nurse with:
- Sufficient post-registration experience.
- Expertise in working within a multi-agency framework.
- Excellent communication skills.
