About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Enterprise Architect to lead our Enterprise Architecture team in Defence Equipment & Support. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic IT solutions that meet the needs of our business.

As a Senior Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of architecture modellers and systems engineers on large-scale projects to ensure high-quality work is delivered that meets the needs of the business and required standards.
  • Ensuring compliance between business strategies, enterprise transformation activities, and technical directions to ensure business needs are met and benefits are realised.
  • Defining the architecture modelling standards, policies, and information exchange formats to support the business.
  • Working closely with the Business Analyst teams to provide Enterprise Architecture input and direction to support solutions design and business change.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance in the delivery of the IT Strategy and ensuring alignment with Business Strategies.
  • Networking and communicating with stakeholders across enterprises and seeking opportunities for improvement.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience in leading the design and implementation of IT solutions, architecture, and design.
  • A Subject Matter Expert (SME) with TOGAF Practitioner and/or BCS Architecture Qualifications.
  • A Subject Matter Expert (SME) in enterprise architecture & systems modelling using ArchiMate and SysML.

We offer a competitive salary of £62,800.00-£81,500.00 per year, 25 days' annual leave, flexible and hybrid working options, and a range of benefits including a market-leading average employer pension contribution of 27% and annual performance-based bonus and recognition awards.
