Position Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team on a day shift schedule. This role is essential for ensuring the operational efficiency of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute maintenance tasks as per job specifications and conduct general upkeep of the site.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults in both electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Maintain and service factory machinery, including CNC equipment.
  • Utilize welding and fabrication skills as needed.
  • Perform machining operations such as cutting, milling, turning, and surface grinding.
  • Engage in routine mechanical troubleshooting and corrective actions, along with planned preventive maintenance.
  • Implement process enhancements and maintain relevant documentation.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing principles, including 5S, 8D, and PDCA methodologies.
  • Possess a completed apprenticeship with experience in machine tools within mechanical and/or electrical settings.
  • Exhibit practical skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical diagnostics.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of all plant equipment and building facilities.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to maximize equipment uptime.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum ONC/HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing, maintenance, or engineering role.
