Position Summary

The individual in this role will assist in the development and management of Canada Life's literature and content across various customer and adviser journeys. This position is crucial in maintaining the integrity of the business by ensuring that all content is accurate, engaging, and compliant with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the upkeep of Canada Life's literature repository, ensuring that communications are compliant, engaging, and accessible to target audiences through appropriate channels.
  • Ensure that all marketing materials and literature, both online and offline, are current and properly managed, overseeing the approval process to comply with brand guidelines and securing sign-off from Technical, Legal, Compliance, Product, Distribution, and other relevant parties, including external partners when necessary.
  • Manage literature projects by handling assigned workloads and adhering to agreed timelines.
  • Conduct regulatory testing of literature to confirm that the repository meets our communication standards, facilitating improvements where necessary.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues in other departments, such as Sales, Product, and Compliance, as needed.
  • Perform literature reporting and analysis.
Candidate Profile

Practical experience in a marketing communications or customer service role is preferred. Relevant skills, attributes, and experience may include:
  • Experience in literature management, preferably within a regulated industry, with a background in working alongside risk, compliance, and legal teams.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Able to manage complex workloads and prioritize effectively to meet multiple deadlines.
  • A proactive team player focused on achieving collective objectives.
  • Adaptable in handling ad hoc tasks and projects with tight deadlines.
  • A customer-centric approach with a commitment to enhancing understanding of communications.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify errors.
  • A background in financial services is advantageous but not mandatory.
