Girlguiding is seeking a dedicated Manager of Trusts and Statutory Funding to become a vital part of our esteemed Fundraising team. This role presents an exceptional chance to engage with a high-achieving, supportive group while overseeing substantial financial partnerships.
The Role
In this position, you will spearhead trust and statutory fundraising initiatives at Girlguiding, implementing strategies to enhance and expand our portfolio of trusts, foundations, and statutory funders.
This revenue stream is crucial for Girlguiding, having seen remarkable growth in recent years; you will manage a portfolio exceeding £4 million, including our most significant funding partners, and foster this exciting expansion throughout the team.
As part of your responsibilities, you will possess the initiative and independence to collaborate across the organization, crafting proposals that support the empowerment of girls and young women throughout the UK.
Key Responsibilities- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key funders, ensuring exceptional stewardship
- Contribute to and enhance a well-established donor portfolio, crafting high-level proposals to advance Girlguiding's mission and vision
- Actively seek out potential partners who can join us in empowering and supporting girls and young women
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across the executive and senior leadership teams, recognizing the significance of stakeholder engagement
- Thoughtfully lead and manage two direct reports, fostering their development as individuals and enhancing your own leadership skills.
