Job Title: Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Milton Keynes

Hours: Monday - Thursday, Permanent Nights (17:30 - 05:30)

Salary: Circa £59,000 (depending on experience) + Overtime + Extensive benefits

About the Company:

We are a leading manufacturer with a £12 million extension to our factory, enabling us to increase our production capacity. We have invested £4 million in high-risk automation and cutting-edge technology to stay ahead of the curve. Our current project involves a four-phase amenity refurbishment with an initial investment of £1 million. Due to expansion, we need talented engineers to join our team.

The site is a fast-paced manufacturing environment with high technology products and highly regulated processes. As a multiskilled maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for all planned and reactive maintenance, continuous improvement, and various projects over the next 5 years. This will include working with electrical and mechanical equipment such as three phase motors, hydraulics, PLC systems, conveyors, ovens/cookers, grinders, choppers, vacuum fillers, packaging equipment, and more.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in a FMCG or Food manufacturing environment as a multiskilled maintenance engineer.
  2. Manage a range of maintenance tasks, including proactive and reactive work, and contribute to Continuous Improvement (CI) projects.
  3. Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, such as an NVQ, ONC, HNC, or HND.
  4. Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and skilled in performing maintenance and repair tasks on electrical and mechanical equipment.
