Marketing Communications and Engagement Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications and Engagement Manager to join our team at Service Care Solutions - Housing. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our region by leading communications and engagement efforts for a dedicated directorate.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Communications Strategies: Create and implement effective communications plans that align with our organization's priorities and goals.
- Lead Communications and Engagement Team: Manage and motivate a team of communications professionals to achieve outstanding results.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including the Communications & Marketing team, to maintain a unified narrative and ensure seamless communication.
- Manage Communications Grid: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of communications projects to ensure timely and on-budget completion.
- Procure and Manage Creative Services: Source and manage external creative agencies to develop high-quality communications materials.
- Monitor Communications Effectiveness: Analyze the success of communications strategies and make data-driven decisions to optimize future efforts.
- Participate in Media Rota: Contribute to our organization's media presence by participating in out-of-hours media engagements.
- Education and Qualifications: Degree-level education or equivalent, with professional qualifications such as CIPR or CIM, or significant related experience.
- Leadership Experience: Proven leadership in a senior communications role, including team management and strategic planning.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives across multiple channels.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage budgets and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Digital Literacy: Excellent digital literacy skills, with the ability to navigate and utilize various digital tools and platforms.
