Bench Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Bench Carpenter to join our team at YourRetreats Ltd, a leading manufacturer of luxury lodges and park homes. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and building timber products to the highest standards.

• Work from our company playbook to build fitted furniture to exact specifications, ensuring attention to detail and quality control.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and guidelines.
• Exhibit strong organisational skills, self-motivation, and ability to work independently, taking initiative to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
• Collaborate with team members to innovate and improve our manufacturing processes, reducing aftersales issues and increasing efficiency.

• NVQ/Diploma L2 qualification or equivalent in bench joinery or a related field.
• Ability to read CAD drawings and shop drawings, with experience in using CNC machinery and other shop tools.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in bench joinery or a related role, with a strong understanding of woodworking techniques and principles.
• Full UK driving license or ability to commute to our site in Morecambe.
• Good organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
