About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead one of the largest sawmill and timber manufacturing operations in the UK and Ireland. As Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Enniskillen Sawmilling site, ensuring the safe and efficient production of high-quality timber products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Enniskillen Sawmilling operations, reporting directly to the Head of Operations
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency, quality, and safety
  • Manage the site's SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improvement
  • Develop and implement lean and continuous improvement initiatives to maximize efficiency and productivity
About You

We are looking for a seasoned leader with a proven track record in heavy industry operations and manufacturing. You will have a strong background in operations management, with experience in leading teams and driving business growth. You will be a champion for the site, ensuring that the business is seen as a positive contributor to the local economy and community.

Key qualifications include:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in leading operations teams in a senior leadership role
  • Proven track record in heavy industry operations and manufacturing
  • Manufacturing or operations degree or relevant equivalent qualification
  • Lean qualification or knowledge gained through experience
  • Strong personal credibility and ability to build trusted relationships
