Key Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining and troubleshooting various systems, including power distribution and automated material handling systems.
- Overseeing the operation of steam boilers and other essential equipment.
- Ensuring the functionality of electrical, instrumentation, control, mechanical, and structural systems.
- Conducting maintenance on production machinery, material handling systems, and dust collection units.
- Working with electrical controls, PLCs, VSDs, servo motors, HMIs, and motor control systems.
- Implementing preventive maintenance strategies.
- Utilizing power and hand tools for machine repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Responding to work assignments from the Maintenance Supervisor and other personnel as needed.
- Independently identifying and rectifying discrepancies in facility and equipment.
- Maintaining accurate logs, records, and equipment history documentation.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Electrical bias with mechanical skills.
- Preferably an HNC qualification in Electrical Engineering or IEE Regulation certification (18th Edition).
