Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with our IT, security, and business units to ensure seamless interoperability of security systems.
- Lead Internal Projects: Oversee system upgrades, asset refresh initiatives, and the rollout of access control and physical security systems.
- Commission New Sites: Coordinate the commissioning of new sites into our security system, minimizing disruption to operations.
- Implement Automation Processes: Utilize PowerShell and SQL scripting to improve operational efficiency and reduce operational overhead.
- Liaise with Suppliers and Vendors: Negotiate software maintenance agreements and ensure timely delivery of security solutions.
- Evaluate Security Products: Assess the functionality and suitability of security, CCTV, and access control products for integration within our energy sector infrastructure.
- Communicate with Stakeholders: Effectively communicate with stakeholders from various departments to gather requirements and address concerns.
- Subject Matter Expert: Become the subject matter expert for physical security software and provide high-level support to internal teams and external clients on complex security solutions.
- Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to validate the functionality, performance, and usability of security systems.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including ISO 27001, by implementing appropriate security measures and controls.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in integrated security solutions. The ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive Knowledge of Gallagher Systems: Hands-on working knowledge of the Gallagher system, with a focus on operational/configuration, software/hardware/interfaces/API/Logic Blocks/RFID, and support/maintenance processes.
- Experience with Synergy: Extensive experience with Synergy, including operational and back-end system maintenance, configuration, and integrations, as well as fault/fix support.
- Technological Literacy: Willingness and aptitude to learn new integrated security solutions and become the subject matter expert.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages and tools.
- Security Application Providers: Familiarity with security application providers.
- Windows Server 2016: Demonstrable knowledge of Windows Server 2016, networking fundamentals, and ITIL best practices.
- Attention to Detail: Attention to detail, particularly in documentation and project management.
We offer a competitive salary between £53,000 – 60,000, dependent on experience and capability. You will also receive a bonus based on company performance, 26 days annual leave as standard, and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%. In addition, you will have access to a comprehensive benefits package tailored to support your well-being and professional success.
