Restaurant and Bar Manager Job Description

At Marriott International, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant and Bar Manager to join our team at Hanbury Manor Marriott Hotel and Country Club. As a key member of our Food and Beverage Department, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving business success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our Food and Beverage outlets, including the Restaurant, Cocktail Bar, Oak Hall, Vardon's Bar, and Room Service.
  • Lead a team of F&B Leaders, Service Experts, and other staff members to ensure seamless service delivery and high standards of quality.
  • Develop and implement business plans to drive revenue growth, improve guest satisfaction, and enhance the overall dining experience.
  • Collaborate with the Director of F&B to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to drive business success.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and support to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Work closely with the Conference and Banqueting team to ensure seamless staffing and rostering.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional results.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage laws and regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
