Senior Residential Conveyancing Specialist

We are pleased to represent our client, Litt Recruitment, in offering an opportunity to join their team as a Senior Residential Conveyancer within the Residential Conveyancing Department. This role is based in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and reports directly to the Head of Private Client. The successful candidate will handle all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions, supervising and developing Conveyancing Paralegals and Assistants. This position is crucial in ensuring that clients receive top-tier advice and assistance in all residential conveyancing matters.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions, including providing comprehensive advice and assistance to clients.
- Investigate titles and oversee the preparation of contracts, reports on searches, mortgage reports, and transfers.
- Manage regular file updates and ensure clients, solicitors, and estate agents are kept informed.
- Supervise and mentor Conveyancing Paralegals and Assistants, ensuring their work meets high standards.
- Handle non-standard correspondence and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as money laundering and data protection.
- Extensive experience in residential conveyancing, with the ability to act confidently for a diverse range of clients.
- Strong risk management skills and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Excellent file management procedures and organisational skills.
- Proven ability to delegate, supervise, and mentor team members effectively.
- Adaptability to changing requirements and deadlines.
- Proficiency with case management systems and excellent PC/keyboard skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service and teamwork.
- Self-motivated with a proactive, positive attitude and the ability to work independently.
- Competitive Salary: Up to £55,000, based on experience.
- Location: Hartlepool, with free parking available at some sites.
- Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
