Class 2 Day Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Class 2 Day Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for making multi-drop palletised deliveries and collections to and from businesses and private addresses around the South West.
Key Responsibilities:- Loading and unloading of vehicle, ensuring load security.
- Planning route on a day-to-day basis.
- Complete daily vehicle checks on company phone.
- Working closely with the network hubs.
- Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing customer expectations.
- Attending regular training sessions.
- Must have a UK Class 2 (C) Driving Licence.
- Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
- Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Working to deadlines.
- Confident, polite, and a team player.
- Good geographical knowledge.
- Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
- Salary: £34,694pa - £39,754pa and more, depending on hours worked.
- Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 48 hours per week, starting at 07:30hrs.
