As a Corporate Tax Partner, you will be instrumental in steering and advancing the firm's UK corporate tax division. Key Responsibilities:
- Directing the corporate tax advisory team, offering strategic insights on a broad spectrum of corporate tax challenges, including mergers and acquisitions, international taxation, and corporate restructuring.
- Formulating and executing innovative tax strategies that align with clients' business goals and enhance value.
- Establishing and nurturing robust client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and primary contact for corporate tax inquiries.
- Managing work in progress, billing, and profitability within the corporate tax department.
- Guiding and developing a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned tax expert with extensive experience in corporate tax advisory services. You should possess strong commercial insight and the ability to lead a team while promoting the growth and development of the firm's corporate tax services.
Essential Qualifications:
- Certifications: ACA/ACCA/CTA or equivalent professional credentials.
- Experience: Substantial experience in corporate tax, with a proven history of delivering high-level tax advisory services.
- Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of corporate tax issues, including mergers and acquisitions, international taxation, and corporate restructuring.
- Leadership: Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing teams.
- Client Engagement: Exceptional client management skills, with strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and provide innovative tax solutions that address clients' needs.
