Lead Dementia Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Dementia Nurse Practitioner to join our Specialist Dementia Care Community at a leading care provider in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an innovative environment focused on providing exceptional care for individuals with complex dementia.

About the Role

As a Dementia Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for supporting, delivering, and coordinating person-centred dementia care. You will work within a multidisciplinary team of nursing, social care, psychology, and wellbeing practitioners to provide holistic nursing assessments and general nursing and bio-psychosocial interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and deliver person-centred dementia care
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic nursing assessments
  • Conduct general nursing and bio-psychosocial interventions

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An active NMC Pin
  • Minimum of 2 years' practice experience in a dementia care community
  • Evidence of delivering person-centred care for people with complex dementia needs
  • Commitment to quality care and professional development
